Decision guide · Stop conditions
When should you not use AI clothing video?
Do not use AI clothing video when the source set cannot prove the requested view, the product facts conflict, the performance must be exact, critical details cannot tolerate generative variation, rights are unclear, or nobody can complete final review.
Check which shots the three-image workflow can support
01
Stop when required evidence is missing or contradictory
A front image cannot prove a back closure, and mixed variants cannot be reconciled into one truthful SKU. If the required view is absent or the images disagree, stop generation and repair the source set first.
Use the reshoot decision guide when a product fact is missing, covered, blurred, or unreliable.
02
Stop when the performance or scene must be exact
Do not rely on limited images for precise choreography, continuous 360-degree movement, exact prop interaction, controlled physical simulation, or an unphotographed location. Choose directed production or capture the required evidence.
03
Stop when critical product details cannot tolerate variation
If exact color, knit texture, logo, print registration, hardware, stitching, or regulated product information must remain unchanged, AI output should not become the only product evidence.
Read why AI clothing videos drift before deciding whether the remaining variation is acceptable.
04
Stop when rights or final review are unavailable
Do not generate from material without clear copyright, likeness, and commercial-use authority. Do not publish when nobody who understands the SKU can review the full video against the source images.
The publishing checklist defines the final product, crop, continuity, rights, and claim review.
05
Proceed only when the request passes the suitability check
An 8-second trial is appropriate only when the images show one coherent SKU, the selected shot is low risk, the destination accepts a generative result, and final human review is available. Otherwise, reshoot, reduce scope, or use traditional production.
